ACCOMODATION AND TRANSPORT

  Please make your hotel reservations yourselves. You can reserve either at the CERN
   guest house cern.hostel@cern.ch or at one of the nearby hotels in France or
   Switzerland. You will find a list here.

   For your transportation there is a SHUTTLE SERVICE provided by CERN during normal
   working hours (8:30-17:30, Monday to Friday) with frequent runs during lunch time
   (11:45-14:30). You can also rent a car in  one of the several agencies in the surrounding
   area. You will find further information in the CERN home page.

  Please note that a car is normally necessary as the Prevessin site is not served by public
   transport and CERN's shuttle service only runs during normal working hours and cannot
   be used to transport instrumentation. Please also bear in mind that Switzerland is NOT an
   EC country. The CERF facility is located in France, on the Prevessin site of CERN but if you
   are coming from an EC country and cross Switzerland, please make sure that you have all
   necessary papers.
